CD:  Plainsong and Polyphony

This CD was recorded over two weekends in June 2007, in the church of St Michael and All Angels, Mount Dinham, Exeter, England.  It presents polyphonic works from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries which are based on, or incorporate, gregorian chant melodies, together with those chants.  It includes the monumental Dartmouth Magnificat, an anonymous work found bound into the late-15th-century courtbooks of Dartmouth in the choir's home county of Devon.

The CD was recorded for the American company 'FirstCom':  if you visit their site here and type 'martyn warren' into the Quick Search box, you can listen to each track in full.  Although firstcom do not distribute directly outside North America, we are hoping to have copies for sale in due course.  Please email [email protected] if interested.

You can see the cover of the CD here, and the contents list here.
