Martyn Warren

Martyn Warren has been obsessed with early choral music since a teenager, and in 1987 took the opportunity offered by Buckfast Abbey to form a choral group (at that time just 7 male voices) to sing Renaissance music in its liturgical context.  He remains somewhat bemused, but delighted, by the success of the choir in the intervening 26+ years.

He retired in 2009 as Director of the Rural Futures Unit in the University of Plymouth, and now works as a freelance researcher and teacher in rural development (details here)
